Making School Glue

You can buy school glue at a stationery store or make a small batch of it for the project at home. To make school glue follow these steps. Don't go with any exact proportions of material when making the glue, but do try to make a medium-sized batch. Say about two cups.
For this take white flour and water and whisk them together till you get a smooth nice paste. Let the mix boil for say 10-15 minute. The paste should be of medium consistency, neither too drippy nor too thick. Add some petroleum jelly to the paste to make it more sticky.

Staining the Window with Tissue

To stain the window first decide on a pattern or a design. Mosaic is the simplest of all, as you can hide your mistakes easily in it. So, on the glass window draw a design. Say of big flowers with a stem and few leaves. If you want in a corner you can add a small sun with tiny rays too.
Draw the design with the sketch pen. This is a rough design. Now, brush on the school glue on the circle completely.
Then inside the design start sticking small bits of colored tissue paper. Different tissues for the flower, green tissue for leaves, yellow for sun, etc. Let the window dry completely. Again apply a layer of school glue. Then on the borders of the drawing apply black bits of tissue paper. Finally let it dry and again apply another coat of school glue. Voila! Beautiful stained glass window art is ready!
