  • A very good design idea for a basement is to use a glass door. Using such a door will allow more light to enter the room, which will thus allow for an illusion of an inviting room.

  • Ensure that the room is not over-cluttered and has minimalistic furniture. Overcrowding the room will only make it seem like it has less space than in real.
