Step I - Planning

The first step involved in interior painting is planning. Plan where you are going to temporarily store your furniture and other things, and in what order the painting of the rooms should be done.

It is a good idea to get the living room painted first, so that when the paint job is taking place in your bedroom or other rooms, everybody can stay in the living room, temporarily.

Step II - Repairs and Removal

Step II - Repairs and Scraping the Old Paint

Cover the areas which are not to be painted, like the trim of the house and windows. Cover the outdoor furniture, sideways, driveways, bushes, shrubs, and other things to protect them from dripping paint.

Step III - Painting the Exteriors
